( I am Charles Sharma Naidu. That’s my picture. I am seated besides my Foundation in Design Colleagues. Ernesto is the Programme Director for Foundation in Design.)
I am a lecturer and Programme Director for Design Diplomas at Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
I am married with 2 awesome kids and I live in Shah Alam, Malaysia. I am a PhD student but apart from the commitments to academic pursuit, I also enjoy painting, writing and I am also a movie buff & I love science fiction (a Trekkie at heart).
Working here is good fun and I work alongside a wonderful team of creative educators. The Design School at Taylor’s would never be what it is today without it’s students. Therefore, my interaction with them and the lessons I share with them whether it is outside or inside campus, as well as the experiences, defines my role as an educator.
This site is everything about our exploration into the creative realm. It’s about inspiration, expression, invention and ideation, which has become the integral part of what we are as creative educators.
Do subscribe to get latest announcements apart from checking the students’ TIMES portal. Please comment, suggest and if you like, you could add me on Facebook. See you in class!
Hey hi, very informative blog..hop we have good communication.:))))
Thank you Pratish! I hope to building a good network of creative individuals so we could all learn from each other and to take our teaching and learning research to the international level. I understand that India has some reputable schools of Art & Design. It would be good to visit and see for ourselves about your views about design thinking and how it’s making a difference in your country. 🙂
